Dr. Tabak attended college and received his medical degree from Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore, Maryland. After completing his cardiology fellowship at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center he joined the Cardiovascular Medical Group of Southern California as an interventional cardiologist. He has served as chairman of the cardiology division at Brotman Medical Center as well as clinical chief of cardiology and chairman of the cardiac catheterization committee at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center. He is a recognized expert in general clinical, consultative and interventional cardiology, and has participated in research in intravascular ultrasound and intracoronary stenting.
