A renowned interventional cardiologist, Dr. Buchbinder received his medical degree from the University of Miami in Miami, Florida. After internship and residency at Jackson Memorial Hospital in Miami, he spent two years as a clinical associate at the National Heart and Lung Institute of the National Institutes of Health in Bethesda, Maryland. He then completed his fellowship in cardiovascular diseases at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center where he served for many years as co-director of the cardiac catheterization laboratory and as clinical chief in cardiology. He has published extensively and is recognized as an authority in all aspects of clinical, consultative and interventional cardiology.
